Hello again! While the previous entry here gave you the Hana Yori Dango/Hana Nochi Hare locations to see around Shibuya, Harajuku and Setagaya, now let me put them in workable "food walk" itinerary so that you can at least go around them in a day before I proceed with the rest of the Shinjuku areas and eventually Tokyo Station/Odaiba areas.

Let's say your starting point is Shibuya Station → Go get some crepes at Galletoria → Proceed to Setagaya areas and get a kakigori at Wa Kitchen Kanna → VIsit Tsukushi's workplace at Tsuruya Yoshinobu → Go to Harajuku and walk down the Omotesando Road and look for that Chloe Store where Airi got her goods (and visit the Johnny's Shop to get Arashi/King & Prince/any of your Johnny's bias official shop photos if you like) → Get some smiley doughnuts at Good Town Doughnuts and Coffee → and to end the day, cap it with an evening visit to Ebisu Garden Place.

EXTRA TRIVIA: If anyone here knows that 2014 Friday pap which caught Hana Yori Dango actors Matsumoto Jun and Inoue Mao with Ikuta Toma on a yakiniku dinner nightout, you can consider having dinner on the same restaurant they went to since it opens at around 5PM. It's called Yakiniku Shibaura Mishuku branch which is just a bus away from Shibuya Station. From the west exit of Shibuya station which is just behind Hachiko, look for the bus terminal. Find bus stop number 43 which is the terminal of Bus Number 31 which traverses Shibuya Station going to Shimouma Icchome. You can use your Pasmo/Suica and just have to go down the last bus stop which is Shimouma Icchome stop and a few steps more and the restaurant is right infront of you. When we first got there in 2015, we were 3 people and we spent less than 4000 yen for a VERY GOOD yakiniku meal. Prolly one of the best yakiniku meals I miss so much now that I'm a transitioning vegan.

This is Shimouma Icchome bus stop. See that white signage on the left? That's the restaurant.

Lo and behold, Yakiniku Shibaura! Actually there's not much natural light inside the restaurant they actually drape their windows with dark curtains.  Prolly that's the reason why these Ogurikai folks (Jun, Mao and Toma) picked this restaurant.

Those folks who saw that Friday pap will be familiar with this sight. They went out of the restaurant's back door fyi.

Now, let's go back to the filming locations list.

SHINJUKU AREA

1. KITANA SOU (aka Edogawa Oto's home)

FINALLY!
After tweeting a preview of this on my account, I can't wait to share this to all the Hana Nochi Hare fans out there. This house is pretty much situated in a residential area so you have to be careful not to be so intrusive in visiting this place. I think there are residents inside and I guess fans are only allowed to take pics outside Oto's home. Remember, the interior of the home was shot in TBS studios in Yokohama so they just had the exterior and ganken shots here. Kitana Sou is the name plate on the property and a word play for "dirty shack", something that the Hanadan staff is known for since they worked the same for Matsumoto Jun's drama 99.9 where there are lots of props with these little clues and word plays.

Drama: Hana Nochi Hare
Area: Shinjuku/Nishi-Waseda
Nearest Station: Nishiwaseda Station. You have to look for the Exit no. 2 and walk a bit, cross the street and walk ahead to see this. Please refer to the attached pictures and Google map for directions.

The view outside Nishiwaseda Station Exit No. 2

Nishiwaseda Station exit no. 2

You have to walk to your right upon exiting the station

Walk up to the corner and cross the street.

Walk straight ahead this road....

until you see this intersection. Can you see it now?

Walk ahead to the left road from the intersection. I can feel the excitement now.

Right on the first corner, you'll see Edogawa Oto's humble abode. It's actually named 南栄荘 instead of 北名荘 (kitana sou)

Up next is Tokyo Station/Odaiba area :)
